I have always been involved in some form of physical activity. At the age of sixteen, I started training at the gym. I never had a problem staying in shape, not even after having my two daughters. When I turned 40, my metabolism completely changed and slowing down to the point that I struggled to maintain my weight and muscle tone.   Since turning 40 I have trained in many different gyms, but never completely satisfied with my experiences.  Lucky for me, I met Jackie! They say that the first impression is what counts, and it was certainly the case with Jackie.  Almost immediately her enthusiasm caught my attention.

The first time I took a class with Jackie I was struck by how much she cared for each one of us.  She is a perfectionist and focuses on the correct form in every exercise we did. The first challenge I took with her was an incredible experience.  I loved the way she worked not only the physical part of the exercises but also how important it is to train within ourselves. I have been fortunate to share quite a bit of time with her, both as a coach and as a good friend.  During the time I have worked out with her, I have been able to reach and maintain my ideal weight.  I feel that since training with Jackie I am in the best shape since my forties.

During this hard time with the COVID 19, I have continued training via zoom with Jackie. These months have been challenging, being at home with two teenage girls, a completely different life change, but not impossible for Jackie to keep me going, encouraging me to maintain a healthy fitness life. Now I am super excited about the next challenge coming up; it is an extra incentive to keep me going. I have no words to express how thankful I am for everything she has done for me.
