This is my testimonial about S.I.T.

I been with Jackie since 2016. Back then I consider myself been fit. I always been very active and done a bunch of exercises and activities, but at some point I got comfortable, and I lack on the most important things like nutrition and consistency.

I have done many other challenges but I wasn’t consistent and I didn’t really care of the outcome, but for some reason reality hit me and I saw myself in a very bad position (overweight and unhappy).

My trainer Jackie, which I consider my friend invite me to the next challenge, the S.I.T. More challenge, and it was something with the name the got my attention. Self control, Integrity and Time management. WOW, I thought this is what I been looking for!

Well, I joined the challenge, and with a couple of weeks in the challenge COVID-19 was officially a pandemic and we had to stay at home. No gym, no equipment, so I had two options

1. quit

2. keep going

Fortunately I choose option 2. Sometimes unexpected things will happen, but that’s within us to keep fighting for what you want. S.I.T. More and putting yourself first, because if you are not happy you won’t be able to show happiness to your love ones.

So, this is a big Thanks to Jackie and my gym friends to keep me motivated and keeping me accountable. I’m not where I want to be but I’m sure I’m working for it.

What’s the biggest lesson you got from this challenge?

  • The biggest lesson I learned is Life is not perfect and will throw you out of you comfort and it’s within you to keep moving forward.

How has S.I.T. More helped you?

  • S.I.T. MORE help me to think before acting, for example think before eating the whole bag of Doritos chips (am I really hungry or just bored). Self control don’t eat just because is there. Love me and think about what is good for my health and my body, which is Integrity to do what’s best for me.

What did you learn about yourself during the this and after this challenge?

  • I learned that I’m not a quitter and I’m not only physically strong… I am mentally stronger.
