Ever since I can remember I have struggled with my weight. I would diet strictly and workout to the point of complete exhaustion and would lose weight, then gain double. It wasn’t attainable or realistic. I was constantly insecure of my body and was simply not happy. My issue was finding the proper balance between working out and proper nutrition. I reached a breaking point and finally made the decision to have weight loss surgery. 

It’s not as simple as outsiders may think it is. It’s not about having surgery and losing weight without putting in effort. I wanted this journey to be successful for the longterm. I made the decision to look for guidance in my journey to assure I was taking the proper steps necessary to reach my goals. 

Jackie has been my health coach since October 2020 and I’m so thankful to have had her to help guide me on my fitness journey. She is very knowledgeable on nutrition and fitness and gives great advice! On our chats we talk about my goals, and what I need to do exactly to make them happen. We talk about my daily life and how to make my needs fit into my busy schedule. 

 With learning the proper skills I managed to lose 180 pounds! I learned different ways of working out and learned to make a lifestyle that I am able to maintain! I look forward to my conversations with Jackie  and my check ins. I look forward to eating healthy and working out. Not only is she my health coach but she also is there for me when it comes to any personal issues I may have. She’s a shoulder for me to lean on when I need to vent and is my biggest supporter! She is an amazing friend! She knows when I’m having my not so great days and helps me get back on track! She doesn’t push me to do anything unrealistic and breaks down my goals to help me achieve them step by step. I’ve gained self confidence and both internal and physical strength. I’m so thankful for Jackie and looking forward to see what else we can accomplish, together❤️
